Reservations may be made for 2 hours during regular library hours. To allow fair and open access to as many students as possible, only one booking per day will be accepted from the same individual/group. Reservations will be held until 15 minutes after start of the reservation. Most study rooms can be reserved up to 1 week in advance. Find a Study Room Browse All Study Rooms Digital Collaboration Studio Located on the third floor of Miller Nichols Library, the Digital Collaboration Studio is a cooperative work and teaching space managed by Digital Scholarship Services. The facility includes an open area with mobile furniture and high-definition monitors, a seminar room with video conferencing capability and digital whiteboard and small collaboration rooms with high-definition monitors. The Studio includes an audio and video recording studio for oral histories and podcasts. The Studio is designed to support research and education in all disciplines. Browse All Reservable RoomsMeeting and Event Spaces Miller Nichols Library provides the following for meetings and events: iX Theatre LOCATION: First floor The primary uses of the iX Theatre are presentations, performances, and meetings sponsored by UMKC student, faculty, staff, or affiliated constituent groups. Consult the iX Theatre Policy for policy and reservation information. Conference Room 325 LOCATION Third floor The room may only be used by UMKC-affiliated groups for meetings, trainings, retreats, etc. if not needed by Library staff. Consult the Conference Room 325 Policy for policy and reservation information. Digital Collaboration Studio Seminar Room 312 LOCATION: Third floor This room sits up to 12 people and is equipped with a whiteboard and control system with ceiling microphone and speakers. Students, staff, and faculty can reserve the Seminar Room for two-hour time blocks. When the room is not reserved, it is open and available for use by anyone.Health Sciences Library LOCATION: School of Medicine Building, 2nd floor The Health Sciences Library provides two reservable rooms: a Collaboration Room seating up to six individuals and a Quiet Study Room seating up to eight individuals.
